Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Sliced mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive oil
  • 6 oz. Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 cup Cooked rice
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain the excess fat.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until they are tender.
  4. Stir in the cream cheese and beef broth, mixing until the cream cheese is melted and well combined.
  5. Add the cooked rice to the mixture and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding garlic or onions while cooking the beef. You can use any type of cheese and broil for a crunchy top if desired.
