- 1 lb. Ground beef
- 1 lb. Sliced mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. Olive oil
- 6 oz. Cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 1 cup Cooked rice
- 1 cup Shredded cheese (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain the excess fat.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until they are tender.
- Stir in the cream cheese and beef broth, mixing until the cream cheese is melted and well combined.
- Add the cooked rice to the mixture and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding garlic or onions while cooking the beef. You can use any type of cheese and broil for a crunchy top if desired.
