A beautiful and delicious dessert combining rich red velvet cake and creamy cheesecake, topped with fresh strawberries.

- 1 1⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1⁄2 tsp baking soda
- 1⁄2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup strawberries (sliced)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, buttermilk, and eggs. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing until well combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Once the cake is cool, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on top.
- Layer the sliced strawberries over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with whipped cream and refrigerate before serving.
Notes
Serve chilled for the best taste and texture. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days.
