Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, 1 tsp cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves. Set aside.
- In a separate large bowl, beat the softened butter and 1 cup granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the pumpkin puree, sour cream, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, and 1 tsp cinnamon. Add the melted butter and stir until the mixture forms crumbs.
- Evenly sprinkle the streusel over the cake batter.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
