- 2 cups crushed Oreo cookies (about 20–25 cookies)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 packages (32 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (about 10–12 cookies)
- Crushed Oreo cookies for garnish

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). In a bowl, mix the 2 cups of crushed Oreos with the melted butter until fully combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form an even crust layer. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then set it aside to cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the sugar and continue beating until fully mixed. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. Fold in the sour cream and the 1 cup of crushed Oreo cookies, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled Oreo crust. Prepare a water bath by placing the springform pan into a larger roasting pan. Fill the roasting pan with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the springform pan. Bake the cheesecake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is just set. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door slightly open for 1 hour to cool gradually.
- Once the cheesecake has cooled to room temperature, refrigerate it for at least 4 hours or overnight to set completely. Before serving, garnish the cheesecake with extra crushed Oreo cookies and a generous dollop of whipped cream.
