Ingredients

- 4 ripe peaches, peeled and diced
- 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Combine the diced peaches with 1/4 cup of sugar in a medium bowl and let them sit for 30 minutes to release their juices.
- Transfer the peaches to a blender, add lemon juice, and blend until smooth.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the remaining sugar, heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla, and salt until the sugar dissolves.
- Stir the peach puree into the cream mixture until well combined.
- Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours to chill.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the instructions.
- Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
Use ripe peaches for the best flavor and consider adding other fruits for a mixed flavor.
