Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the diced peaches with 1/4 cup of sugar in a medium bowl and let them sit for 30 minutes to release their juices.
  2. Transfer the peaches to a blender, add lemon juice, and blend until smooth.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the remaining sugar, heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla, and salt until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Stir the peach puree into the cream mixture until well combined.
  5. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours to chill.
  6. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the instructions.
  7. Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes
