- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter to form the crust mixture. Press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract, eggs one at a time, sour cream, and flour, mixing until everything is well combined.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for about 55-60 minutes or until the center is set.
- Allow the cheesecake to cool, then refrigerate for several hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
Serve with whipped cream and chocolate shavings or fresh cherries for a delightful presentation.
