Description
Delicious brownies combining rich chocolate flavor with creamy peanut butter, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish. Soften the peanut butter in the microwave for 20-30 seconds and spread it over the brownie layer.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter on top of the peanut butter layer and spread evenly. Sprinkle chocolate chips and peanut butter chips on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use high-quality cocoa powder. Let the brownies cool completely before cutting to prevent crumbling.
