  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish. Soften the peanut butter in the microwave for 20-30 seconds and spread it over the brownie layer.
  6. Pour the remaining brownie batter on top of the peanut butter layer and spread evenly. Sprinkle chocolate chips and peanut butter chips on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Let the brownies cool completely before cutting into bars.
