- Desired toppings (chocolate shavings, fresh fruit, mini chocolate chips, sprinkles, etc.)
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: Line a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper and grease the sides. Combine the Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter, then press into the pan. Chill in the fridge.
- Make the filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, and cocoa powder until smooth. Gradually mix in melted chocolate.
- Whip the cream: Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla in another bowl until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into the cream cheese mixture.
- Assemble the cheesecake: Pour filling into the crust and refrigerate for 5-6 hours or overnight until set.
- Prepare whipped cream topping: Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Finish and serve: Remove cheesecake from the pan, pipe whipped cream around the edge, add toppings, and serve chilled.
Notes
For best texture, let the cheesecake set overnight. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.
