- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
- Banana slices for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of the springform pan to create the crust.
- Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes and let it cool.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and peanut butter together until smooth.
- Add in powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Stir in the mashed bananas and sour cream.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, keeping the center slightly jiggly.
- Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
- Before serving, top with caramel sauce, chopped peanuts, and banana slices.
Notes
For more flavor, add extra caramel sauce or whipped cream on top before serving.
