  • 2 packages (8 oz each) full-fat cream cheese, softened

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cheesecake layer)
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar (for streusel topping)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for streusel topping)
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt (for streusel topping)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (for streusel topping)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (for streusel topping)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 23 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 13×9 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Beat in softened butter until crumbly. Add eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk; mix until fluffy. Pour into prepared dish.
  3. For the cinnamon filling, mix softened butter, flour, sugar, and cinnamon until crumbly. Sprinkle over the batter.
  4. For the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese until creamy. Gradually add sugar, then beat in eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Scoop over the cinnamon filling.
  5. For the streusel topping, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add melted butter, then flour and mix until combined. Sprinkle over the cheesecake layer.
  6. Bake for 60-75 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely, then refrigerate for 3-4 hours before serving.
  7. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled cake.
  8. Slice and serve!
