Ingredients

- 1 cup dark chocolate (chopped)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- White chocolate hearts for decoration
- Chocolate shavings for coating
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Melt dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler, stirring until smooth, then let it cool slightly.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until combined, then add the melted chocolate mixture and vanilla extract.
- Fold in flour and salt until just mixed.
- Pour the batter into greased small round molds and bake for 12-15 minutes. Let them cool.
- Heat heavy cream and pour it over the remaining dark chocolate to make a ganache, stirring until smooth.
- Dip the cooled cakes in the ganache and roll them in chocolate shavings.
- Top each cake with a white chocolate heart.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
