  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup grated zucchini
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the grated zucchini and shredded cheese.
  5. Add the milk gradually, mixing until a dough forms.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  7. Pat into a circle about 1 inch thick and cut into wedges or rounds.
  8. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
