A refreshing and easy marinade that enhances the natural flavors of salmon with citrus and herbs.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, dill, and parsley.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in a resealable bag or shallow dish, then pour the marinade over the top.
  4. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat your grill or oven.
  6. Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade.
  7. Grill or bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through and flaky.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the salmon marinate for up to 2 hours. Use fresh herbs for the best taste.
