White Pizza with Ricotta and Mozzarella

Description

A delicious twist on traditional pizza featuring creamy ricotta and gooey mozzarella topped with sautéed greens.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella (low moisture)
  • 3/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan or pecorino
  • 12 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 12 tbsp olive oil
  • Sautéed greens (e.g., spinach or kale)
  • Pizza dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough onto a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough onto a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  4. Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle sliced garlic evenly over it.
  5. Spread the ricotta cheese evenly across the surface of the dough.
  6. Add the shredded mozzarella on top of the ricotta.
  7. Sprinkle grated parmesan or pecorino over the mozzarella.
  8. Top with sautéed greens.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve.

Notes

Serve hot and enjoy with a fresh salad or mixed greens. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
