Description

A rich and creamy cheesecake combining white chocolate with a classic graham cracker crust, perfect for any special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 500g (2 1/2 cups) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz (225g) white chocolate, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • White chocolate shavings or curls for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl and press into the pan to form a crust.
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes, then set aside to cool.
  4. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract and melted white chocolate.
  5. Mix in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in sour cream and heavy cream until smooth.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly, then cool in the oven for 1 hour.
  8. Let it cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with white chocolate shavings.
