- 300g butter, softened
- 300g caster sugar
- 6 eggs
- 300g self-raising flour
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 600g fondant icing
- Pink food coloring
- 300g buttercream

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease two round cake tins.
- Cream the softened butter and caster sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gently fold in the self-raising flour and vanilla extract.
- Divide the batter between the two cake tins and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a skewer inserted comes out clean. Let cool in tins for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, stack the cakes using buttercream to hold them together. Cover the entire cake with a thin layer of fondant icing.
- Color the remaining fondant pink using the food coloring. Shape into butterflies and flowers, and place them on the cake for decoration.
- Allow the cake to set for 1 hour before serving.

Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing. Ensure cakes are cool before frosting.
