Description

A fun twist on classic flavors, combining crispy waffles, gooey cheddar cheese, and tender smoked brisket enhanced with bourbon and sweet maple syrup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fresh or frozen waffles (toasted or pressed until crisp)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced smoked brisket
  • 2 tbsp bourbon
  • Maple syrup (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron if using fresh waffles. If using frozen, toast or press them until crisp.
  2. Layer one waffle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Add the sliced smoked brisket on top of the cheese.
  4. Drizzle the bourbon over the brisket.
  5. Place another waffle on top and press down gently.
  6. Cook the sandwich in the waffle iron until the cheese melts and the outside is golden brown. Alternatively, grill it in a skillet, cooking both sides until golden.
  7. Once done, drizzle maple syrup over the top and serve warm.

Notes

For best flavor, use high-quality smoked brisket. Adjust seasoning and toppings as desired.
