  • 1 lb steak (sirloin), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 2 cups penne pasta, uncooked
  • 1 1/2 cups Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and steak pieces, cooking until browned. Remove excess grease if necessary.
  3. Add the diced onion and garlic to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until softened.
  4. Stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Then, add the diced tomatoes and uncooked penne pasta.
  5. Pour in 1 1/2 cups of water and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 12 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
  6. Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the Velveeta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses.
  7. Add the milk and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
