- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb steak (sirloin), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
- 2 cups penne pasta, uncooked
- 1 1/2 cups Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and steak pieces, cooking until browned. Remove excess grease if necessary.
- Add the diced onion and garlic to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until softened.
- Stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Then, add the diced tomatoes and uncooked penne pasta.
- Pour in 1 1/2 cups of water and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 12 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
- Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the Velveeta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses.
- Add the milk and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Serve hot, and enjoy the cheesy, savory goodness!
