Description

A delightful dessert that combines layers of chocolate chip cookies and creamy vanilla ice cream, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 500g chocolate chip cookies
  • 1/4 cup melted margarine
  • 1 cup semisweet baking chocolate, melted and warm
  • 2 liters vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 12 cherries in syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate chip cookies and melted margarine, mixing until well combined.
  3. Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a cake pan to form the base.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, spread the vanilla ice cream evenly over the cookie base.
  7. Pour the melted chocolate over the ice cream layer.
  8. Return to the freezer for at least 120 minutes to set.
  9. Before serving, top with whipped cream and place cherries on top.
