- 500g chocolate chip cookies
- 1/4 cup melted margarine
- 1 cup semisweet baking chocolate, melted and warm
- 2 liters vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 12 cherries in syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate chip cookies and melted margarine, mixing until well combined.
- Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a cake pan to form the base.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
- Once cooled, spread the vanilla ice cream evenly over the cookie base.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the ice cream layer.
- Return to the freezer for at least 120 minutes to set.
- Before serving, top with whipped cream and place cherries on top.
