Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until combined; press into the prepared baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
- Heat whole milk and heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, egg yolks, vanilla extract, and cornstarch.
- Slowly temper the egg mixture with hot milk, then cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened.
- Pour the custard over the cooled crust and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- In a bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream over the custard layer, cut into squares, and serve chilled.
