A delightful dessert that combines the rich taste of vanilla with creamy dulce de leche, perfect for special occasions and family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar (200 g)
  • 1 cup milk (250 ml)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter (125 g)
  • 2 cups wheat flour (300 g)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder (13 g)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 500 g dulce de leche
  • 400 ml whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add milk and melted butter, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until smooth.
  5. Stir in vanilla essence.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  7. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool, then slice it and spread dulce de leche between the layers and on top.
  9. Whip the cream and pipe or spread it over the cake for decoration.

Notes

For best results, ensure ingredients are at room temperature. Do not overmix the batter for a lighter cake.
