- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar (200 g)
- 1 cup milk (250 ml)
- 1/2 cup melted butter (125 g)
- 2 cups wheat flour (300 g)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder (13 g)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 500 g dulce de leche
- 400 ml whipping cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy.
- Add milk and melted butter, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla essence.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool, then slice it and spread dulce de leche between the layers and on top.
- Whip the cream and pipe or spread it over the cake for decoration.
Notes
For best results, ensure ingredients are at room temperature. Do not overmix the batter for a lighter cake.
