Description

A delightful twist on classic hot chocolate, this Valentine’s Day Pink Hot Chocolate is sweet, creamy, and festive with its charming pink hue.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 12 drops pink food coloring
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Sprinkles (optional)
  • Marshmallows (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the whole milk and heavy cream.
  2. Heat over medium heat until it’s warm but not boiling.
  3. Add the white chocolate chips to the pan and stir continuously until the chocolate has completely melted into the milk and cream mixture.
  4. Once the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth, add 1-2 drops of pink food coloring. Stir until you reach your desired shade of pink.
  5. Pour the hot chocolate into mugs and top with whipped cream, sprinkles, or marshmallows for an extra festive touch.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your sweet, pink Valentine’s Day treat!

Notes

Stir the mixture constantly while heating to prevent it from burning. Adjust the amount of pink food coloring to get the shade you like. Experiment with toppings such as chocolate shavings or heart-shaped candies.
