A delicious and simple dish that captures all the flavors of traditional cabbage rolls without the fuss of rolling them up.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in onion and garlic. Cook for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Cover and cook over medium-low heat for 25–30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender and the sauce is thickened.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy warm!
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding spices like chili powder or cumin. If you like a bit of heat, add some red pepper flakes.
