- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Combine the dry mixture with the wet ingredients and fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 15-20 minutes. Let it cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla and sour cream.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie base and spread evenly.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, until the center is almost set. Turn off the oven, crack the door, and let it cool for about an hour.
- Cool completely on a wire rack, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Stir in butter until melted and allow it to cool slightly.
- Remove the cheesecake from the pan, pour the ganache over the top, and garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings before serving.
Notes
Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for best results. Use high-quality chocolate for the ganache.
