Description
A delicious dessert combining creamy cheesecake with crunchy, caramel flavors of Twix bars.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups (200g) crushed chocolate graham crackers or digestive biscuits
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 24 oz (680g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 cup (120g) caramel sauce
- 4–5 Twix bars, chopped
- 1 cup (120g) caramel sauce (for topping)
- 1 cup (175g) milk chocolate chips, melted
- Additional Twix bars, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). In a medium bowl, combine crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch (23cm) springform pan and bake for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract and heavy cream. Gently fold in caramel sauce and chopped Twix bars.
- Pour filling over the crust, smoothing the top. Place in a larger baking pan and add hot water halfway up the sides. Bake for 60-70 minutes until edges are set and center jiggles slightly. Turn off oven, crack door open, and let cool in the oven for 1 hour.
- Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Spread caramel sauce over the top, drizzle melted chocolate, and garnish with additional chopped Twix bars.
- Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy!
