Ingredients

- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 cups chocolate mousse
- 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the sugar and vegetable oil, whisk together until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool completely.
- Once cooled, layer the cake with chocolate mousse.
- Top with mixed berries.
- Chill before serving for best texture.
Notes
Serve with a dollop of whipped cream for enhanced flavor. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
