A decadent dessert featuring three rich layers of dark, milk, and white chocolate mousse, perfect for any chocolate lover.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 cup dark chocolate, melted
- 1 cup milk chocolate, melted
- 1 cup white chocolate, melted
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, whipped
- 1 tsp gelatin dissolved in 2 tbsp warm water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Add in the oil, vanilla extract, buttermilk, and hot water, mixing until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. A toothpick should come out clean when inserted in the center.
- Let the cake cool completely in the pan.
- For the mousse layers, melt the dark chocolate and allow it to cool slightly.
- Dissolve the gelatin in warm water and mix it into the melted dark chocolate.
- Gently fold in half of the whipped cream until smooth.
- Place the cooled cake base in the springform pan and spread the dark chocolate mousse evenly over the cake.
- Refrigerate for 20 minutes to set.
- Repeat the melting and folding process with milk chocolate and white chocolate mousses, refrigerating each layer for 20 minutes before adding the next.
- Once all layers are set, refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Carefully remove from the springform pan, slice, and enjoy your layers of chocolate perfection!

Best served chilled. Pair with a dollop of whipped cream or fresh berries.
