- 1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup heavy cream (for dark chocolate)
- 200g dark chocolate, chopped
- 2 tablespoons sugar (for dark chocolate)
- 1 cup heavy cream (for milk chocolate)
- 200g milk chocolate, chopped
- 2 tablespoons sugar (for milk chocolate)
- 1 cup heavy cream (for white chocolate)
- 200g white chocolate, chopped
- 2 tablespoons sugar (for white chocolate)
- Chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Base: Mix chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill in the refrigerator.
- Make the Dark Chocolate Mousse: Heat 1 cup of heavy cream until hot but not boiling. Pour over dark chocolate, stir until smooth, cool slightly, fold in sugar, pour over crust, and refrigerate until set.
- Make the Milk Chocolate Mousse: Repeat the process using milk chocolate. Pour over dark chocolate layer and refrigerate until set.
- Make the White Chocolate Mousse: Repeat the process using white chocolate. Pour over milk chocolate layer and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove springform pan, garnish with chocolate shavings, slice, and serve chilled.
Notes
Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor. Chill each layer for proper setting.
