Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then add the vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in the white, milk, and dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop out rounded tablespoons of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are still slightly soft.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
