Ingredients

  • 24 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the granulated sugar and continue to beat until creamy.
  4. Mix in the vanilla extract, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Finally, add the sour cream and mix until well combined.
  5. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust in the springform pan.
  6. Bake for about 60-70 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  7. Let it cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

For a sweeter cheesecake, adjust the sugar to your preference. Make sure to chill the cheesecake for the right consistency.
