- 24 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the granulated sugar and continue to beat until creamy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Finally, add the sour cream and mix until well combined.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for about 60-70 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
- Let it cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
For a sweeter cheesecake, adjust the sugar to your preference. Make sure to chill the cheesecake for the right consistency.
