Description

A simple and delicious sandwich that combines fresh tomatoes, onions, and kosher dill pickles for a quick and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • Kosher dill pickle, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mayonnaise or butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread if desired.
  2. Spread mayonnaise or butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer the tomato slices on one slice of bread.
  4. Add the onion slices on top of the tomatoes.
  5. Place the kosher dill pickle slices on top.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Top with the second slice of bread, cut in half, and serve.

Notes

Best served fresh, can be enjoyed with chips or a salad.
