A delightful dessert that combines fluffy chocolate sponge with creamy nougat and Toffifee candies. Perfect for special occasions or everyday indulgence.

- 4 large eggs
- 100g granulated sugar
- 100g all-purpose flour
- 30g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 50g melted butter
- 200g nougat cream
- Toffifee candies for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.
- Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Fold into the egg mixture gently.
- Add the melted butter and mix until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking tray and spread evenly.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes, until the sponge has risen and springs back when touched.
- Once baked, turn the sponge out onto a clean kitchen towel dusted with icing sugar.
- Roll the sponge up in the towel and leave to cool completely.
- Unroll the sponge, spread the nougat cream evenly, then re-roll gently.
- Decorate with chopped Toffifee candies and serve.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
