Scale
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup crushed ladyfingers (or sponge cake)
  • 2 tablespoons espresso or strong coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, crushed ladyfingers, cooled espresso, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth.
  2. Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
  3. Once chilled, scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls.
  4. Roll each ball in cocoa powder or chocolate shavings for a delicious finish.
  5. Place the chocolate balls on a serving platter and refrigerate until serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle cocoa powder or instant coffee granules into the mix. You can also customize coatings with crushed nuts or shredded coconut.
