  • 1 cup of sugar (200 g)
  • 1 2/3 cups of all-purpose flour (200 g)
  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 60 g melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder, and then gradually add to the egg mixture, mixing well.
  4. Stir in the melted butter until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.
