Description

Tender and juicy baby back ribs seasoned with a sweet and savory dry rub, glazed with barbecue sauce, perfect for any barbecue occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks of baby back ribs
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Barbecue sauce (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper to create the dry rub.
  3. Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
  4. Place the ribs on a baking sheet and cover them tightly with aluminum foil.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 150-180 minutes until tender.
  6. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  7. Remove the ribs from the oven, and discard the foil.
  8. Brush barbecue sauce over the ribs.
  9. Grill the ribs for about 5-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the sauce is caramelized.
  10. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the dry rub sit on the ribs for a few hours or overnight in the fridge. Use a meat thermometer to ensure they reach an internal temperature of 190°F (88°C) for tender ribs.
