- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Barbecue sauce (for grilling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper to create the dry rub.
- Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
- Place the ribs on a baking sheet and cover them tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 150-180 minutes until tender.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Remove the ribs from the oven, and discard the foil.
- Brush barbecue sauce over the ribs.
- Grill the ribs for about 5-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the sauce is caramelized.
- Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
