Delicious and fun grilled skewers combining shrimp and sweet pineapple, perfect for summer barbecues or quick weeknight dinners.
Ingredients

- 1 lb large shrimp (peeled, deveined)
- 2 cups pineapple chunks
- 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Toss the shrimp and pineapple in teriyaki sauce and sesame oil until well coated.
- Skewer them by alternating shrimp and pineapple on each stick.
- Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the shrimp turn opaque and the pineapple has a nice char.
- Brush with more teriyaki sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro. Done!
Notes
For a different twist, add bell peppers or onion chunks to the skewers. Use chicken instead of shrimp if you prefer.
