Description

A delightful dessert with a refreshing citrus flavor, perfect for sunny days or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 170 grams of crushed biscuits
  • 40 grams of sugar
  • 100 grams of melted butter
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon zest
  • 400 grams of sweetened condensed milk
  • 150 grams of lemon juice
  • 100 grams of whipped cream

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the crushed biscuits, sugar, and melted butter until you get a grainy and well-blended texture.
  2. Press this mixture into the bottom of a tart pan to form a crust.
  3. Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F) and bake the crust for about 20 minutes.
  4. In another bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the lemon zest. Then, add the sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice, and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour this mixture over the crust and return it to the oven for about 22 minutes.
  6. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  7. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form, then spread it over the tart.
  8. Add some lemon zest on top for garnish before serving.

Notes

Make sure the butter is melted but not too hot before mixing. Adjust lemon juice according to taste for tanginess. Consider adding thin lemon slices on top of the whipped cream for extra flair.
