Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 cups lettuce, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup cheese (cheddar or your choice), shredded
  • 2 cups tortilla chips, crushed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup salsa

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey over medium heat until browned. Add taco seasoning as per package instructions and mix well.
  2. In a large bowl, layer the chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cooked meat.
  3. Sprinkle cheese on top for a rich flavor.
  4. Crush tortilla chips and add them to the salad for crunch.
  5. Serve with sour cream and salsa on the side for a delicious finish.
