Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked jasmine or long-grain white rice
- 3 cups beef broth or water with bouillon
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella (optional)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, bring beef broth to a boil. Add rice and reduce to low heat. Cover and simmer until rice is tender (15–18 minutes). Stir in 2 tablespoons of butter and heavy cream for creaminess. Optionally stir in mozzarella.
- Season steak with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Sear steak bites until browned (2–3 minutes per side) and remove.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and remaining butter. Simmer until slightly thickened (2–3 minutes).
- Return steak to skillet and toss in honey garlic butter sauce until fully coated. Serve over warm buttery rice.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
