A delightful dish that combines juicy steak with a rich honey garlic butter sauce, served over fluffy rice.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked jasmine or long-grain white rice
  • 3 cups beef broth or water with bouillon
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, bring beef broth to a boil. Add rice and reduce to low heat. Cover and simmer until rice is tender (15–18 minutes). Stir in 2 tablespoons of butter and heavy cream for creaminess. Optionally stir in mozzarella.
  2. Season steak with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Sear steak bites until browned (2–3 minutes per side) and remove.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and remaining butter. Simmer until slightly thickened (2–3 minutes).
  4. Return steak to skillet and toss in honey garlic butter sauce until fully coated. Serve over warm buttery rice.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Leftovers last up to 3 days in an airtight container. Reheat in a skillet or microwave.
