- 8 small flour tortillas
- 200g flank steak, sliced thin
- 200g shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped cilantro
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Season the steak and shrimp with chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steak for 2-3 minutes until cooked to your liking, then remove it from the pan.
- In the same pan, sauté the shrimp until they turn pink and are fully cooked.
- Toss in the sliced onions and bell peppers and cook until they are slightly charred.
- Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
- Fill each tortilla with steak, shrimp, and the veggie mix.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges for squeezing over the tacos.
Notes
Avoid overcooking the shrimp to prevent them from becoming rubbery. Feel free to add your favorite toppings for extra flavor.
