Description
A delicious combination of tender beef and fresh shrimp, topped with a rich and creamy garlic sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 filet mignon or beef medallions
- 8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook to your desired doneness, approximately 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove the steak and let it rest. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and bring to a simmer. Cook for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the steak topped with the shrimp and garlic cream sauce, garnished with fresh parsley and cracked black pepper.
Notes
Use fresh shrimp for better flavor and texture. Adjust garlic based on preference. Allow steak to rest for juiciness.
