- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3 eggs

- Yellow food coloring
- Chocolate ganache
- Buttercream frosting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
- Add in the butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract; stir until the mixture is smooth.
- Add yellow food coloring to the batter until you reach your desired shade.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Once baked, let the cake cool completely.
- Cover the cooled cake with chocolate ganache for a rich flavor.
- Pipe buttercream frosting into the shape of sunflower petals and rosettes on top of the cake.
Notes
