Description

A hearty bake with layers of flavor, perfect for a cozy family meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp yogurt (30 g)
  • Dill to taste
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 kg potatoes (2.2 lbs)
  • 100 g mozzarella (3.5 oz)
  • 45 g butter (3 tbsp)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 carrot, grated or diced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (15 g), plus 1 cup (120 g)
  • 400 g mushrooms (14 oz)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Boil the potatoes until tender, then peel and mash them.
  3. In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the onion, carrot, and mushrooms until soft.
  4. In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables, eggs, yogurt, mozzarella, dill, flour, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for about 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

Serve warm with a fresh salad or steamed green vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
