A fun twist on the classic Sloppy Joe sandwich with seasoned ground beef in crispy, garlicky hoagie rolls.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 small onion, diced (plus more for topping)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown ground beef with onions and garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add ketchup, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thick.
- Brush rolls with melted butter and garlic powder. Toast in the oven or skillet until golden.
- Spoon the sloppy joe mixture into toasted rolls. Top with extra onions and parsley.
Notes
Serve hot and enjoy with optional toppings like cheese or pickles.
