A warm and hearty one-pan meal that combines the flavors of traditional stuffed cabbage rolls, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds ground beef
- 3.5 pounds chopped cabbage (about 1 medium head)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1.5 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella (or cheese of choice)
- 2 (15 oz) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the chopped cabbage, and cook until slightly wilted.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and the beef and cabbage mixture. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a large baking dish and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add spices like oregano or Italian seasoning to the meat mixture. Use any cheese you prefer instead of mozzarella.
