A delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert, combining rich mascarpone cheese with fresh strawberries for a refreshing treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  2. Gently fold in mascarpone cheese until smooth.
  3. In a shallow dish, combine cooled coffee and strawberry jam. Dip ladyfinger cookies briefly into the mixture.
  4. Layer dipped ladyfingers in a serving dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, followed by a layer of sliced strawberries.
  6. Repeat the layers, finishing with mascarpone on top.
  7. Dust with cocoa powder.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor and avoid soaking the ladyfingers too long in the mixture.
