Ingredients

- 3 cups vanilla cake crumbs
- 1 lb strawberries, fresh or frozen
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 4 oz cream cheese, cold
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced
Instructions
- Prepare the Vanilla Cake: Crumble the cooled cake into small pieces and divide evenly into 28 2-ounce cups, filling each about halfway.
- Make the Strawberry Sauce: Combine strawberries and granulated sugar in a saucepan and cook over medium-low heat for about 15 minutes until softened. Let cool.
- Prepare the Cream Cheese Whipped Cream: Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract and gradually incorporate heavy cream, whipping until stiff peaks form.
- Assemble the Dessert Cups: Spoon strawberry sauce over cake crumbs in each cup, top with whipped cream, and garnish with diced strawberries.
- Chill and Serve: Cover cups and chill in the refrigerator. Serve immediately or within 2 to 3 days.
