- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, 1/2 cup sugar, and lemon juice. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes to enhance the flavor.
- In another bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, 3/4 cup sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the strawberry mixture to the ice cream base and mix well to combine all the flavors.
- Cover the mixture and refrigerate it for 120 minutes to chill.
- Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn it for 25-30 minutes until it reaches a soft-serve texture.
- Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze it for at least 240 minutes until firm.
