- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 package strawberry jello
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 package frozen strawberries, thawed and crushed
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup cold milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 container whipped topping, thawed
- 1 fresh strawberry for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
- In a separate bowl, dissolve the jello in boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved. Add the crushed frozen strawberries and stir well. Set aside to cool to room temperature.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Slowly beat in the cold milk and vanilla extract.
- Fold in half of the whipped topping to the cream cheese mixture. Spread this mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.
- Carefully spread the cooled strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Top the entire dessert with the remaining whipped topping.
- Garnish with fresh strawberries and crushed graham cracker crumbs.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
