  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
  • Fresh strawberries for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Mix in the strawberry puree and vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, mixing until well combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan.
  9. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth and drizzle it over the cooled cake.
  10. Top with fresh strawberries.

Notes

Use ripe strawberries for best flavor. If the glaze is too thick, adjust with more milk. Can add chocolate chips or lemon zest for variation.
